ChurchClusterThingCalendar

Just to let you know in response to Beth's post I have tried to set up an online calendar for ChurchClusterThing. It can hopefully be accessed at http://my.calendars.net/churchcluster

I think people can put in events directly, but if not (i'm still not sure about all the settings) then I don't mind if people want to email me (as administrator?) and I can take responsibility for keeping it up to date (if that doesn't tread on anyone's toes).

What do you think? Is it a good idea? What else would you like to see on there? (eg, Dan's meal rota?) Andy- could we maybe put a link to it on the template for the blog?

Any feedback would be great!

calendar is very exciting - i like the use of colours - they send my coffee head into a whir!

text thing is easy to set up if everyone up for it and will give a couple of quid as texts aren't free but much cheaper than from phones. everyone gets to know the username and password so people can easily do it for themselves. particularly sisters like beth and fizz cos sisters are always doing it for themselves, standing on their own two feet and...

man this coffee is strong!

the calendar and text could work together well too. if simple guidelines were set up such as: "if you make a change to calendar that has effect within 3 days then send text also", it would make people with limited internet access feel more in the loop.

what d'ya think?
