the first really jolly nice film festival

on the weekend of the 20th may, columbia place will be hosting the first ever really jolly nice film festival, featuring 4 all-time classics.

the festival begins on the friday night, with an as-yet-to-be-decided thriller, probably hitchcock. then there'll be the saturday afternoon matinee, featuring the ealing classic 'kind hearts and coronets', and, inspired of The Greatest Advert Ever (TM), 'singin in the rain'. the festival will close on sunday (after brunch) with 'once upon a time in the west' (a western, if you hadn't guessed, but apparantly a good one).

hopefully we'll pinch some of those big coke cups from ugc & moosh'll bring some scorching salsa (kate even suggested making home-made tortilla chips), to add to that authentic cinema experience. come to as little/as much as you want, it'll be lovely to see you.
