Old Crow Medicine Show

For all those tempted by the murder, drug addiction, war and poverty of mountain music, 'Old Crow Medicine Show' by, um, Old Crow Medicine Show must surely be purchased. If still in doubt, you only have to know that they've gone and got The Rawlster (David Rawlings) on production duties! Get in!

All change

Hello good people,

It seems you must never trust a thing I type for I am clearly more often wrong than right.

Dan is now moving his stuff tomorrow (that's Weds - aargh) because he's managed to get the keys even though he hasn't signed the contract yet. If anyone is around to help meet at mine at 10am.

He wont move in himself until Friday, Saturday or Tuesday, so would like to change 'Sunday morning Dan' from Jan 30th to Feb 6th if that's ok. And still even it it's not.

Er, yeah. That is all.

I did I did I did I did I did!

Yo.

This is an official launch for my new blog, http://itouchedalanhansen.blogspot.com, which is dedicated entirely to people who wish to discuss contemporary debates in the delightful sport that is Association Football.

Y'know, like, why is Ian Dowie so ugly?

Regards.

Dan dan the bearded man.

As you've probably seen on ttai, Dan has almost definately got a flat, which means he'll be out of hospital within a week HURRAH!

This means that the stuff talked about at the 'Friday night Dan' will be needing some sort of conclusion fairly soon (meals etc). Mr Cooper has suggested that a 'Sunday morning Dan' (on the 30th of Jan, so not this weekend but next weekend, at a brunchy kind of time, whilst eating brunchy kind of food) round his place would be nice. Just as a place to talk about stuff again, so there's no expectation on anyone to do anything or feel a certain way, just turn up and see what's what together.

Assuming this flat all works out fine, his address will be 17 Columbia House, Fornham Street and it's round the corner from Remars.

Also he needs

Telly (min21" with scart)
Washing machine
Microwave
Toaster
Sofa (pref large 2 seater)

so if you know of any going spare or cheap leave a comment

oh, and help moving, he needs that too. That'll hopefully be this Saturday but will confirm when details are definate.
Many thanks and stuff

K

Dan

Dan is having a liver biopsy on Friday morning because there is something wrong with it (dont know what) and they want to investigate. Please pray. Also, it means that he'll have to lie down for the whole day to let it heal so he said he would appreciate visitors on that day cos he'll probably get a bit bored.

That is all.

God help us

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)is seeking input on a new proposed study in which infants in participating low income families will be monitored for health impacts as they undergo exposure to known toxic chemicals over the course of two years. For taking part in these studies, each family will receive $970, a free video camera, a T-shirt, and a framed certificate of appreciation. The study, entitled Children's Environmental Exposure Research Study (CHEERS), will look at how chemicals are ingested, inhaled or absorbed by children ranging from babies to 3 years old.

Please take a moment to follow this link and join tens of thousands of citizens in petitioning the EPA to terminate this study prior to its proposed launch in early 2005.
