andy, bea & robin's festive brunch

bea and i have decided to do a christmas brunch thing on the 4 december from 10am till 1pm at our house, all of you being warmly invited to come along and warm yourself in our house... we could even light the fire and roast some chesnuts... if anyone likes them and if that's even possible... not sure... just a thought...
anyway, if you could bring along £2 each and rsvp by 1st december (phone, text, email, comment, etc) so we know how much stuff to buy that'd be great.

If, after all that, you're still sitting on the fence, the thought of seeing robin dressed up as santa claus should hopefully sway you over.

six feet under, series 4...

don't s'pose anyone has it we could borrow please? we've gone through the first 3 series, and will be suffering withdrawal symptoms soon.

Joya

Two dates for your diary. The first is November 22nd, which sees the return of Cripple Creek, a wonderful evening dedicated to the delights of Americana (country, bluegrass, alt. country etc.). Starts from 7.30pm in the back room of The Lescar.

The second is 6th December, a Green Room gig, which myself and my wife will be performing at, hopefully under the moniker, The Payroll Union (if i got to them before they went to the printers). Could be performing from around 8.30pm, so arrive in good time.

Cheers.

hippie

there's a thing on at the showroom bar tomorrow (Wed) night, says its a mixture of poetry, fiction, photography, film, hypermedia (?), dance (?). Apparently a night of the unexpected and part of the Off the Shelf literature festival.
Does anyone fancy it? There is a dearth of interesting things in my life at the mo and I thought this might help the dearth situation. Let me know if you fancy coming down so I know whether to go for the sophisticated-strong-independent-poet-woman look (who can still be cool on her own with a drink, honest) or the spontaneous-i-just-threw-on-a-jumper-and-ran-out-of-the-house-with-friends look.
felicity

oh, p.s. there is a thing at Shef uni on sat called FEM 05, big names in feminist issues are speaking, Amnesty INternational will be there and others. If you have any interest in things feminist, I think this would be a good thing to go to. And Bea, especially re Vagina Monologues, it might be a good time for networking etc if you're around. I think it starts at 10am. There is, no doubt, a website somewhere, if I find it I'll post it.
