Prayer Request

I have a job interview tomorrow (Weds 31st August) at 10:30am, for a job at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. (for details see this post from my blog)

I'd really appreciate some prayer cover as I'm totally exhausted from Greenbelt and haven't had chance to do enough preparation (I have to do a presentation which I haven't written yet). Please pray that God would be sovereign over the whole process and that the right thing would happen.

Thanks for praying- I got the job!!! They phoned me up the same day to offer me the post- I'm in shock! Just have to trust it's the right thing, even though it's scary. Now I'll just need some grace with my current bosses: I'm supposed to give 3 months notice, but STHT want me to start in October... eek!

been a while sice the last one so i'll be hosting another brunch a week on sunday (dunno what date that is, but it's the sunday after greenbelt.) the usual score - bring a bit of grub, drink etc & in return you get the joy of my presence. hope you all have a lovely time at greenbelt!

poker night

next wednesday evening, 8pm onwards, i'll be hosting poker at my house for those interested - whilst pete won't be there, it does of course mean we can play texas hold'em.
