To offer some solace from the rigours of Christmas shopping why not watch a film about a boy who can’t stop sucking his thumb? Next Thursday a few of us are off to the Showroom to watch Thumbsucker (www.empireonline.co.uk/incinemas/review.asp?FID=15293). We’re going for the 6.25 showing if you’d like to join us (meeting up a little before and then possibly hanging around for a drink afterwards).
PAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRTTTTTTYYYYY or rather a festive soiree, depending on how you feel about it. SATURDAY 17th DECEMBER, Mulled wine, candles, ince pies, apparently there will be dancing, maybe some ivy hanging around, warmth (they'll definitely be warmth) but also potentially an outdoor heater for those who want to stare at the stars. There might be a bit of Bob Dylan, he said he'd come. Maybe some elves depending on various things. Basically there will be so much fun happening at my house on Saturday 17th December, 86 Southgrove road, it would be wrong to miss it. This party is brought to you (although technically you will bring yourselves to it) by Stout Sisters ltd. Bring a bottle, bring a friend(s), bring some fun, bring your favourite tunes, 8pm onwards.
as we all know, christmas doesn't officially start until you've seen it's a wonderful life, so to kick-start the festive season everybody is warmly invited round my flat to see the glorious film on the weekend of the 16th/17th - not sure whether to do the friday or saturday so let me know your preferences & we'll go with the majority.
i'll be watching the big game tonight if anyone fancies coming over (it's chelsea v liverpool in case you were wondering)
