Dear all,

umm, I'm looking for somewhere to live. I had grand ideas about making my nest in a cute little 1 bedroom flat (I put this down to spending too long surrounded by millions of children and babies when I was in Mexico and thinking it would be a good idea for me to start making my own nest for potential offspring). However, I clearly can't afford that cute little 1-bedroom flat in the ground floor of a big victorian house in Nether Edge (or in fact in any part of Sheffield) so I'm now considering other options. Ideally a part-furnished shared flat or house. Is anyone else looking for somewhere to live? Or does anyone know of any spare rooms/ houses/ something like that?
I want to live with someone I like (and who preferably likes me) and to be honest, I also can't be doing with too much (if any) emotional responsibility (please understand I have a smile on my face whilst writing).

my birthday...

is tonorrow, but being in france isn't much use for everyone else back in sheffield (altho i'll be having a lovely day out here)... so next friday (the 18th i think) i'll be off to the hillsboro hotel for customary drinks, all are welcome.
i'll be there from 8.30 if you'd like to join me for some real ales... please do.

urgent prayer request on behalf of our resident missionary kate (currently in mozambique), as she's just contracted malaria & been told it'll take 3 months to recover. they're supposed to start travelling back tomorrow so i'm not sure what's going to happen (i got a text from gnomes but it didn't have much info. just what i put above in fact). cheers
